Russell’s was founded by its CEO in late 2001 in Queens N.Y., during a challenging time in tourism, with one bus and one driver, Russell himself! After the first three months, Russell went on to expand with 4 buses and multiple new accounts and customers.

After one year he added a Hummer limousine, Chrysler limos and party buses to his expanding fleet, covering the tri-state area of New York, Connecticut and New Jersey.

After many years of building and expanding the business, Russell realized he was getting more calls and requests than he could handle, so in 2010 Russell decided to acquire and create an amazing affiliate base, consisting of all the dedicated transportation companies he had worked with throughout the years. The best thing about this, and what lead to his immediate success, was that he knew his affiliates personally and their equipment and drivers. Russell’s Charters has become a leader in customer service for vehicle rentals and bus and limo services. Now offering hundreds of different vehicles to choose from, he started doing large groups, 200 to 300 buses at a time to Washington DC for the presidential inaugurations and to Albany for political rallies. In Russell’s pursuit of sunnier skies, he moved to Florida and expanded his business base through many of the east coast cities.

Now with hugely expanded fleet capabilities, the ability to be there for customers ASAP in the rare case of vehicle breakdown is something Russell prides his business on, making sure another backup vehicle or service unit is there immediately!
